2018 QUARTERLY ISLAMIC FINANCE PUBLIC LECTURE : URUS TADBIR AGIHAN ZAKAT DI ERA SIBER

Zakat Excellence Unit, International Research Centre of Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) had organized the 2018 Quarterly Islamic Finance Public Lecture on 12 December 2018 at Hassan Omar Lecture Hall, Academic Block 3, KUIS. The event was attended by more than 100 participants who are KUIS Students and lecturers.

The public lecture entitled “Urus Tadbir Agihan Zakat di Era Siber” was delivered by Ustaz Ahmad Husni Abdul Rahman, the Assistant Manager for Syariah & Information Unit, Pusat Pungutan Zakat, Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP).

2018 QUARTERLY ISLAMIC FINANCE PUBLIC LECTURE :RATING ISLAMIC INSTRUMENTS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

The 2018 Quarterly Islamic Finance Public Lecture by Mohamed Zakariya Othman entitled “Rating Islamic Instruments and Financial Institutions”; was carried out on 31st May 2018. The program was attended by more than 100 participants who are lecturer and student from KUIS and other institutions.

The program began with du’a recitation led by Mr Ahmad Fatin Mohamad Suhaimi, followed by the Public Lecture session. The program ended successfully.

2018 QUARTERLY ISLAMIC FINANCE PUBLIC LECTURE: SDGs, MAQASID SHARIAH AND ISLAMIC ECONOMICS & FINANCE

The 2018 Quarterly Islamic Finance Public Lecture, IRCIEF was carried out on the 27th February 2018 at Dk Hassan Omar, Academic Block 3, KUIS by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahida Shahimi. The lecture was titled “Sustainable Development Goals, Maqasid Shariah and Islamic Economics & Finance”. The program was attended by more than 100 participant from lecturer and student from KUIS.

The program began with du’a recitation led by Mr Ahmad Fatin Mohamad Suhaimi, followed by the Public Lecture session. The program has ended successfully.

IRTI CORNER LIBRARY OPEN DAY 2018

International Research Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) had organized the IRTI Corner Library Open Day 2018 on 16^thJuly 2018 at Senate Hall KUIS. The event was attended by more than 50 participants consisting of industry players, representatives of Islamic financial institutions, and students.

The morning session began with by du’a recitation by Dr Ahmad Misbah Mohamad Hilmi followed by public lecture by Prof Dr Mohammad Akram bin Laldin, Executive Director of International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA). The morning session continued with the officiating ceremony of IQTISOD by Dato Abdul Halim Ismail. The IQTISOD is the Islamic Economics & Finance Information System that developed by IRCIEF KUIS. The evening session ended with the officiating of ISRA Corner that will be located in IRTI Corner Library, IRCIEF.

The evening session began with Public Lecture titled Publication in High Impact Journal by Prof Dr Abdul Ghafar Ismail. The evening session ended with the book review session by Mr. Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, representative from ISRA. The full day program ended successfully.
